MAYOR LARRY ANTOSKIEWICZ'S COVID UPDATE APRIL 3:

Since we know we will be following the Governor's Stay-at-Home Order for another month, remember to follow the proper health guidelines.

Continue to be cognizant and keep your distance from others, stay home as much as possible, wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, cough and sneeze into your elbow, disinfect high-touch surfaces and do not venture out when you are sick.

We know residents are confronted with a plethora of news about COVID-19. Follow our website, northroyalton.org which has a COVID-19 link for pertinent information and resources for both residents and businesses, and our Facebook page @City of North Royalton OH, as we will be sorting through and bringing relevant information to your attention regularly as we receive it.

The City is functioning and delivering essential services with the safety of employees and residents in mind. Trash and curbside recycling collections are continuing as normal. The only disruption has been in our Saturday service yard drop-off operations, which are closed until further notice. The orange bag Simple Recycling program has also been suspended.

Please note that the filing deadline for federal, as well as state and RITA, income taxes has been extended from April 15 to July 15.

I will try to provide regular updates as we move through this ever-changing issue. Again, I encourage you to continue to support our local restaurants and essential businesses during these challenging times. Our businesses are the backbone of our community, and we need to do all we can to help them through this.

These are trying times, but remember to be kind, patient and mindful of the stress levels everyone is under. Please feel free to reach out to my office with any questions or issues at 440-237-5686.
