Alison's Superfoods Market Opens in North Royalton

We would like to extend a warm welcome to North Royalton resident and business owner Alison Groleau! Alison and her family just opened a second location of her very successful, Alison's SuperFoods Market, here in North Royalton at Bennett and Royalton roads, 7351 Royalton Road.

Mayor Larry Antoskiewicz, Dawn Carbone-McDonald, North Royalton Ward 5 Councilwoman, Linda Barath- Ward 2 North Royalton, and North Royalton Chamber of Commerce President Aldo Filipelli were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening, May 27.

Alison said her grandparents, who were farmers, are the inspiration for this venture. Being able to branch out to her hometown, with this second location, brings her one step closer to her full vision.

“The original business plan is three locations. We are residents of North Royalton, so to be able to open in my hometown adds another layer. To bring what we were able to bring to the Strongsville location, here, is really an honor. I grew up living the farm-to-table concept,” she said.
The store’s primary focus is organic produce, and it also carries dairy products including milk, butter and farm-fresh eggs. Alison said she supports more than two dozen certified-organic growers within a hour’s drive and has also forged relationships with growers out of state for the off season. The North Royalton location is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., currently, but those hours will be expanded. Alison’s Strongsville site currently supports 14 female entrepreneurs.
