Update on Senior Center and Activities

Our North Royalton Senior and Adult Services is still currently housed on the lower level of the Deaconess Apartment complex at 13500 Ridge Road. The City is still in the process of relocating the senior center to a portion of the former Royal View Elementary building, at 13220 Ridge Road. The hope is to have that project completed by the end of the year. For now, the senior center is still operating in the existing space. Beginning in April, the center will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. As we transition from the current facility to the new facility, we will be offering some services at City Hall’s community room this year, beginning in April. We ask that seniors keep an eye on the Senior Center calendar to stay up to date on times and locations of classes etc. The letters “CH” denote an activity is hosted at City Hall. To kick off the year, we will be hosting the first ever Muffins with the Mayor from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Monday, April 3 at City Hall, 14600 State Road. This will be a monthly event, where seniors will have the opportunity to visit with the Mayor. We hope you continue to join us as we work to provide a new and improved space for our senior population!
